the mos SHOWCASE
Founded in 2023 by ellie m. plourde & rick dumont
Committed to empowering actors by providing an economical opportunity for them to showcase their talent, skills, and unique perspectives on their casting. The MOS showcase connects actors with industry professionals and industry professionals with each other, culminating in post-show receptions that encourage natural and authentic networking.

castings in SAG and non-union films, full length theatre productions and readings
requests for taped performance from 80+ industry professionals
indie film director audition requests
self-tape audition requests from numerous casting directors
actors called in for series regulars on streaming show
personal and artistic relationships developed between the actors involved and between actors and industry

film, TV, theatre, and musical theatre actors all welcome
cost of participation is a fraction of showcases run by for-profit companies
actors have a hand in producing the show alongside of lead producers, who offer support and guidance throughout
actors pre-screened through virtual submissions and callbacks
actors propose the material they'd like to perform
2 month rehearsal process & artistic community building consisting of rehearsals with scene partner, collaborative work sessions with showcase cast, group outings, and rehearsals with professional theatre director
one open dress rehearsal for friends & family and an industry-only performance(s) in a professional theatre space
no panel, no notes, just a night of great theatre
